Right dog breed for me?

huskies are not usually cat friendly. they tend to have very high prey drives not to mention their coat. same for shepherds. I'd go to www.petfinder.com and see what they have available in your area. If you get a dog that is already a year or two old, you will know the personality and coat and it will already be old enough to accompany you on runs.
